DevCapital is a free resource from WebDevOps which allows technical professionals to build and promote their professional profile.
Built using Laraval and FilamentPHP on the backend and TailwindCSS, Vue3 and plain old HTML on the frontend, DevCapital is a scalable containerised application running in production under docker swarm. Individual containers run workloads dedicated to serving the frontend and backend, running scheduled tasks and ad-hoc jobs, and rendering and securely distributing PDF versions of a professional profile. With a heavy focus on privacy, variants of a professional profile can be customised to display limited information for public, unauthenticated viewers, with more detail available to recruiters and employers authorised through their LinkedIn accounts.
ROTOR is a recreation of the experience of the 1990’s IUKADGE air defence ground environment, using live ADS-B data to simulate the detection, analysis, and display of tracks in the UK ADIZ.
ROTOR simulates the detection and display of radar tracks as if you were sat in an R3 bunker in the heyday of the Cold War. But instead of 1970’s VAX/VMS mainframes and 1950’s primary radar technology, ROTOR is built on a modern containerised event driven web stack, using secondary radar data from ADS-B compatible data sources, or data from the XPlane12 flight simulator.
